4 Months

As of this last Sunday Liam is 4 Months Old. He is growing up way too fast. At his doctors appointment yesterday he weighed in at 15 lbs 9 oz and 25 1/2 inches long. He is in the 75th percentile for both height and weight. He had to get immunizations again and took it like a champ. After they stabbed him with the needles (literally they STAB him) he cried out but as soon as I picked him up and held him he calmed down and just started giggling. Last time he got shots he was in pain the whole day and it was so sad, this time it was the same thing only a little worse. He had a fever all night and didn't get much sleep.

Liam talks non-stop and is such a happy kid. He mostly just makes a "geeeee" sound. He is always smiling and has started laughing, mostly at his daddy. I guess I am just not that funny!!! He has found his hands and is always sucking on his fists. He has also started grabbing things. At the doctors yesterday he grabbed a star shaped toy and was able to bring it to his mouth and chew on it. He was so pleased with himself he giggled with joy!!! He is also adamant about holding his bottle when I feed him which usually ends up with him knocking it away from his mouth again and again. He hasn't quite gotten the concept that if he moves his hands the bottle moves too.

We love our little boy so much and can't believe how blessed we are to have such an amazing son!!!

In other news, our house is almost done. Hopefully just a few more weeks! We can't wait to get into it and out of our little apartment.
