The last 6 months....

Vito and I decided that it was about time to start a blog. We wanted a way to journal our life together and this is the best way to do it! We will have been married for 6 months on June 18th! Time sure does fly! In the past 6 months we have done some pretty fun things together. Here is what we have been up to:

We went on our honeymoon down to Newport Beach. We spent a day in Huntington, exploring Main Street, walking down the pier, admiring all the surfers, and of course eating good food!

We also spent a day down at Venice Beach. We were hoping to see some street performers but for some reason it was a slow day. We did get to see some interesting people and Vito's favorite part was the legalized marijuana shop.

After our honeymoon we drove up to Rocklin with Allison for Christmas and our second reception. Vito made out like a bandit. He got a remote control hummer, some new shoes and Jordan shorts, and his favorite thing--his BB gun. He has enjoyed using our neighbor's dog as shooting practice.

We were finally able to come home to Provo and get settled into our new apartment! We absolutely loved having Vito's mom here with us and loved getting to spend time with her!
We had a big dinner with all of our Fijian friends! We had a great time!
In February we got to go down to Las Vegas fore the Rugby 7's tournament. We got to stay in a really nice hotel thanks to Vito's job. It was a lot of fun for me to see professional rugby played for the first time. I really loved it! We got to explore the strip, eat at a couple good buffets, and just enjoy having time off from work!

We have also loved getting to spend a lot of time with my sister Sam and her family. She has a little girl named Claire who is 18 months and a little boy, Noble, who is about 7 moths. Claire absolutely adores Vito. She started saying his name way before mine, which I was a little upset about, but its SO cute I didn't stay mad for long. Whenever Claire comes over she follows Vito around everywhere. Even when he goes to the bathroom she stands outside the door saying "bito, bito, bito". She adores him. We have even taught her to do Vito's famous "Y" hand motion. When we ask her what Vito does, she puts her arms in the shape of a Y, just like he did when he scored against Utah.
For Vitos 28th birthday in May, I planned a weekend away for us up in Park City. We got to stay at this awesome hotel. We just enjoyed being able to relax and enjoy ourselves. It snowed while we were up there but we still managed to go swimming! We got to shop around at the outlets and we visited Olympic park. We had a really good time!
